| Tom Gutridge is a LPC-MHSP who received his Master's degree in educational psychology and counseling from Tennessee Tech University in 1969. Tom earned his license in 1993 as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Tom has been in the mental health field since 1969 with a wide range of experience including school counseling and the college and university level. Tom has been practicing independently for 12 years. He has specialized training in reality therapy and sex offender treatment. Tom specializes in mood disorders, alcohol and drug treatment, domestic violence, family treatment for adolescents and adults. He uses a variety of treatment approaches including reality therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, schema therapy and REBT.
Tom's practice motto is do the right thing simply because it's the right thing. He believes in treating the whole person when working with clients. |
